Sweetgrass Rods January 2017 Newsletter  

Sweetgrass in Sacramento at the International Sportsmen's Expo

Sweetgrass Rods at the International Sportsmen's ExpoSweetgrass Rods will be at the International Sportsmen's Expo (ISE) in Sacramento, California from January 21-24, 2016.  Stop by, check out our rods, and talk fly fishing! 

The ISE will be held at Cal Expo at the state fairgrounds, 1600 Exposition Boulevard. 

Admission is $15 for adults, kids under 16 are free.  Parking is $10.  

The ISE will be open from 11am to 8pm Thursday (Jan 21) and Friday (Jan 22).  On Saturday (Jan 23) and Sunday (Jan 24), the hours are from 10am to 7pm and 10am to 5pm, respectively.  

No pets, weapons, firearms or ammunition are allowed.

Nelson's Spring Creek takes on Sweetgrass Bamboo Rods

Coming soon...in about a month...a series of rods built for Nelson's Spring Creek--right here in The Last Best Place--these were built with Nelson's Spring Creek in mind as 7'6" #4 3-piece, 2-tip, Hexagonal Sweetgrass Rods with a few extra custom points chosen and designed by Jacquie and Tucker Nelson...the wraps, reel seat, sock, etc., will be custom made for these "Spring Creek Specials".

Glenn Brackett Inducted In MT Circle of American Masters

Glenn Brackett Inducted into the MT Circle of American MastersGlenn and Christine were off to Helena today so that Glenn could be inducted into Montana's Circle of American Masters.  Ten visual and traditional artists were honored at the Old Supreme Court Chambers.  Please click here to read the Montana Standard's article and the Independent Record's article
