Chris Crookshanks: Speechless!

A few years back, my wife and I stopped into the shop while fishing / staying in Twin Bridges.  It's no exaggeration to say that day changed our lives. We spent hours there that day...had a beer and a bump, and talked about flyfishing.  Fast forward to a couple days ago and I took delivery of my first bamboo rod...a rod that my wife surprised me with for Christmas.  I can honestly say that I am speechless.  The craftsmanship is absolutely unmatched.  It looks like it should be hanging above a mantle somewhere!  To that I say "Hell NO!!!"  It was built for fishing and I know the Boo Boys would be gravely disappointed if it was not used as often as possible.  What a rod!  Thanks so much, guys...you are true artists.  Can't wait til the snow and ice here melts so I can give it a whirl.  Here's to many more bamboo memories!!!

Ron McCormack: Glenn Brackett

A number of years ago when Glenn was in the old bamboo rod shop I stopped in unannounced to meet the legend. Charles Kuralt had nice things to say about Glenn and and now I know why... Glenn was friendly and a true gentleman. No snobs in that shop. Now that I moved from Pennsylvania to Montana I hope to stop again and say hello to the folks at Sweetgrass Rods. Prosper and be well all you craftsmen at Sweetgrass. Read about Glenn and the other craftsmen in "Charles Kuralt's  America" a great book.

Alistair Stewart: 2010 Season is upon us

Hi guys,

hope you'll spend plenty of time out on the stream in 2010; it sure must be nice getting paid to be in your waders, refining and developing your tapers Cool

I'm looking forward to all the wonderful spring creek fishing that is such a delight with my 7ft 9in 4/5wt hex Sweetgrass. In September I hope to see Dave in West Yellowstone (I'll likely be there with Bob Hunt for Wild Trout X).

Keep up the good work, and

Tight Lines!

Todd Fox: From Apple Valley, CA

Greetings Boo Boys!

I had the pleasure of visiting Twin Bridges three summers ago with my son, Eric. It was a memory that will last a lifetime. Fortunately, we are going to reinforce the memory this summer once again as we will be heading north at the end of June for more fishing. I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Jerry at the Greemore's motel one evening during our visit. It was a magazine article of Jerry's that originally enticed us to come to your little hamlet. I have enjoyed both books you signed for me that evening many times over the past three years. I hope to visit your new factory when we are in town. I'd like to see, smell and feel the mystery of the cane.

Best regards & tight lines,

Todd Fox
