An 8’ Sweetgrass Quad 5-weight
SWEETGRASS Series
If you want the best, and the most beautiful rod we can make, then a Sweetgrass Rod is what you need. Each rod starts with Tonkin cane. Split, milled, and glued into blanks, the rods then head to the benches of boo crew, where they are finalized into a fishing rod.
Mantra Series
A Mantra Rod’s course through the production process is nearly identical to a Sweetgrass. At the point of guides being wrapped on, we use a ti-chrome steel stripping guide. The reel seat wood is chosen by us and carefully nestled onto the end of the rod using precision-made black aluminum hardware from Bellinger. The good folks at Bellinger pay attention to details that others miss, so we appreciate their high-quality, consistent products. We’ll choose the wood for your spacer, but we’ll make sure it’s a beauty.
Specialty RODS
We have made a number of salt-water rods, switch rods, and spey rods. Prices vary, so call to discuss. The fact is, we love bamboo and we love making fishing rods out of this natural material.
